New Year's Eve

You might think that if you had a penthouse apartment on the Upper East Side, that you would have the best holiday party ever. But I'm here to tell you, folks, that at 3:30 this morning, not all lights were alight atop the skyscrapers surrounding my apartment. I so deserve one of those places.This was Perspective , and it appeared on January 1, 2005 3:42 AM.
